"In a world where data is power and networks are its lifelines, securing each packet is not just a skill—it's a responsibility."
I’m Probal Saha, currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Advanced Networking & Cybersecurity at Brainware University. I have a solid foundation in Linux system administration, including user and permission management, file systems, basic shell operations, package handling, and network configuration. My skills also extend to networking fundamentals like TCP/IP, subnetting, IP addressing, and simulation using Cisco Packet Tracer, along with database concepts such as SQL, ER diagrams, and relational algebra.
In cybersecurity, I understand the penetration testing process and have hands-on experience with tools like Nmap, DNSdumpster, Shodan, and Metasploit, including exploiting test environments such as Metasploitable2 and Windows 7 SP1. I’m also familiar with EDR, DLP, encryption, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and various cyber attack vectors like phishing, malware, and MITM.
My goal is to become a cybersecurity professional with strong Linux expertise, capable of identifying and mitigating threats in real-world systems. I aim to combine my knowledge in offensive and defensive security to build safer, more resilient digital infrastructures.
